Lakr ("we", "us") is a macOS application made for people who want an AI assistant without giving up their conversations. This policy explains what we collect and what we deliberately do not.
Your recordings, transcripts, summaries, tasks and notes are stored locally on your computer. They are not uploaded to Lakr's servers. Where cloud AI models are used to improve transcription or writing quality, audio or text is processed transiently by those providers to produce the result and is controllable from Settings.
We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not store your recordings or transcripts on our servers.
If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture to create your account. We request no other Google data and no access to your Google services.
Local data can be deleted at any time by deleting the app's folders. To delete your account and its records, email [email protected].
